Texas Conservatives has chartered their first bus trip to Austin on Thursday, January 12th**

The purpose of this trip will be to sit in on the House as they debate and vote on the rules they will follow for the 88th Legislative Session.

We will be there to express our support for an amendment to the House rules specifying that no Democrats be appointed as committee chairs when Republicans have the majority in the House. This is because Texas voters voted for Republicans and expect to see them in leadership positions, not Democrats.

The bus trip will be one day down and back. We will leave Collin County at approximately 6:00 a.m. and return at approximately 9:00 p.m. the same day.

The cost is $50 and includes one passenger round trip ticket. Meals are not included.
